WHO BENEFITS FROM MUSIC THERAPY?    


Many people can benefit from music therapy including those with Apraxia of Speech, Alzheimers Disease, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, Intellectual & Developmental Differences, neurologic disorders, stroke, terminal illness, and more. Clients do not need prior musical training to benefit from music therapy!


HOW ARE GOALS ADDRESSED?

wHAT IS A MUSIC THERAPY SESSION LIKE?    


Music therapy sessions may consist of live or recorded music, singing, or the use of instruments to achieve non-musical goals. Ranging in duration and intensity, individual experiences in sessions are highly adaptive and differ from client to client. Learn more about this process!

where do sessions take place?


Music therapy sessions can take place just about anywhere, but our services are provided through partnerships with Nemours Children's Health, an outpatient Specialty Care clinic in the heart of Jacksonville, and at UF Health as part of the treatment team for the Haley Brain Wellness Program.
